Communications Policy
Effective Date: May 1, 2010
Overview
Hitech Wolf is committed to communicating with clients only in ways that are helpful, relevant, and expected. We do not engage in unsolicited marketing, excessive contact, or intrusive communications. This policy describes exactly how and when we will contact you.
We do not sell your contact information. We do not share it with marketers. We do not send spam.
Text / SMS Communications
We use SMS exclusively for service-related matters. You will only receive text messages from us for:
- Appointment confirmations and scheduling reminders
- Maintenance window notifications
- Critical system alerts affecting your services
- Two-factor authentication codes
We never send promotional or marketing SMS messages. Reply STOP at any time to opt out of SMS communications.
All SMS communications comply with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). Consent is obtained before any SMS is sent to your number.
Email Communications
We send two categories of email:
Service emails (always sent):
- Invoices, receipts, and payment confirmations
- Support ticket responses and status updates
- Project updates and milestone notifications
- Account changes and renewal reminders
- Scheduled maintenance and outage notices
Marketing emails (optional — only if you've opted in):
- Newsletter and technology tips
- Service updates and new offerings
- Seasonal promotions
All marketing emails include an unsubscribe link. Opting out of marketing emails does not affect service emails.
Phone Communications
We call you for:
- Scheduling on-site visits and technician appointments
- Following up on open support tickets requiring clarification
- Time-sensitive technical matters affecting your systems
- Onboarding and account setup
We do not make unsolicited sales calls to existing clients.
Marketing Communications
Marketing communications — newsletters, promotions, and service updates — are entirely optional and fully separate from service communications. Opting in or out of marketing has no effect on your service or the service communications you receive.
You can update your marketing preferences at any time through our Communications Opt-Out page, by emailing us, or by calling us.
